Family Counselling
I approach family counselling through the lens of strengthening attachment, repairing connection, and facilitating communication. The process is adjusted depending on the ages of family member. My office space comfortably accommodates both individual sessions and larger family meetings, providing a warm environment where healing and connection can take place together. And for some families, having me visit them at their home to support attachment in real time, is most impactful.
I provide counselling directly with parent-child sessions that offer a unique opportunity to strengthen your relationship and develop deeper understanding of one another in a supportive environment. These sessions are designed to help both parent and child feel seen, heard, and understood while building practical skills for better communication and connection. The focus is adjusted depending on the children’s ages, for families with younger children, connection through play is encouraged. For families with teens, repairing connection and facilitating communication in a supportive environment can be impactful for the entire family.
